Description
Barrel Craft's Story After graduating from the Viticulture and Winemaker Technician program from Niagara College, I began my career in the wine industry. I saw countless old wine barrels being discarded, and I decided to try and transform them into lasting memories of the fine wines they were once home to. My grandfather was a barrel-worker at a distillery, and it seems that working with barrels is in my blood, because shortly after I began experimenting in my shop, I had created some beautiful pieces. Interest began collecting around the items I was crafting, and before long, I had orders to fill. I am a full-time Assistant Winemaker, but I use my spare time to craft these items, which help to breathe new life into old wine barrels, and also to give me a creative outlet to share my passion for everything wine-related.
