The ancient art of creating textiles has fascinated people since civilisation began. You can learn how to make beautiful, individually crafted pieces in a sociable and fun group, including blankets, rugs, wall hangings and wearable items such as scarves and shawls. You can also learn to spin fleece for weaving and knitting, and discover the myriad colours you can dye yarn! Experiment with modern materials such as metallics and wire. The Guild has many different types of looms and spinning wheels for you to use and experiment with, plus an extensive library and yarn collection. We are open every Wednesday from 10am to 2pm (except Dec and Jan). Membership is $35 per year if you decide to join up. No obligation if you would like to visit!
