Alchemy *Clothing*Salon*Tattoo*Piercing* is a unique fusion of artistry and style: a collaboration of fashion design, hair stylists, tattoos and piercings. Featuring local artists and designers, one of a kind pieces, custom clothing and accessory design, up-cycled housewares and a green attitude. The boutique has over 40 local designers’ products available, including owner and designer Melissa Squire’s Badass Pretty Rockabilly clothing line and ReTyred Accessory line, made primarily from recycled tire and records. Melissa also does custom designs including bridal and couture. Alchemy Salon features several hair and makeup artist whose talents extend into gel nails, hair art designs and even special effect makeup. Serving up local beer and liqueurs during your service, they even plant a tree with each beverage sold! Recently Alchemy partnered with Bullfrog Power to replace energy used with that which is sustainably sourced. Also part of the Green Circle Salon Program, recycling and repurposing nearly all of the waste produced, Alchemy is setting the example of what we can all do to make a difference. The tattoo and piercing room boasts 2 great artists with wonderfully different styles as well as our experienced and knowledgeable piercer! Alchemy now offers Airmiles too! Whether you need a pretty new party dress, a shirt for your favorite boy, a sexy pair of heels, some new ink, gel nails, a funky hair piece, a wicked cut, a wedding dress, a beautiful colour or you just want to pamper someone special- Alchemy is the place- where there is nothing ordinary, only extraordinary.
