The Craig Gallery provides an important opportunity for amateur and established artists to display their works. Painters, sculptors, and interactive multi-media artists have exhibited their works in the Gallery to date. The Norman Newman Market was donated in memory of Norman Newman ~ 1928-1993. Norm operated Capital Stores Ltd. in the Halifax-Dartmouth area, having taken the business over from his father, Abe, and his uncles in the late 1940’s. Alderney Landing houses a professional, fully-equipped 285 seat theatre - the perfect destination for a night on the town or your troupe's next production. Alderney Landing Theatre is host to professional performance and dance groups from around the world, as well as adapting to serve its clients and community in Nova Scotia.
