Since 1908, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. has implemented programs of service impacting countless lives. Members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. through its 265,000 members and 986 chapters, will have an opportunity to address community needs through Launching New Dimensions of Service℠: 1. Educational Enrichment 2. Health Promotion 3. Family Strengthening 4.Environmental Ownership 5. Global Impact Locally, Alpha Chi Omega Chapter continues to fulfill its purpose in the community of Tulsa by being of “Service to All Mankind.” Highlights of our impact on the Tulsa community: - Alpha Chi Omega Chapter has mentor over 200,000 youth through various programs throughout the years. -Since 1997, the chapter has raised thousands of dollars towards breast cancer screening and research. - Since inception,the chapter has provided educational enrichment opportunities to thousands of high school students through various programs. - Over $300,000 has been awarded in scholarships to outstanding high school junior and senior students. -Since inception the chapter has supported Historically Black Colleges and Universities by making annual monetary contributions and bi-annual college tours to HBCU's. - Annually the chapter supports needy families by donating holiday food/gift baskets.
