Description
We are a grass roots organization; our purpose is to approach congressional men and women on the steps of Capitol Hill to influence policy pertaining to the immigration practices of the United States. We propose: •An immediate freeze on immigration of the asylum seekers from the Middle East •Close monitoring of the visa holders to our country. •Not enacting the DREAM ACT, NO AMNESTY •Require new citizens to learn English •Secure our borders •Fix our "anchor baby" issue What actions can we take to ensure that our communities are safe from domestic terrorist in the USA? The quickest step is to closely monitor all new immigrants to our country. Require periodic check-in with immigration enforcement (which is not required currently) and place movement restrictions if they do not comply. From 2012 data there are 2.5 million illegal immigrants in the US (excluding Mexico, Central & Latin America) that came here legally through visas but have not returned to their country of origin and locations are not known to government officials. Immediately we need to secure our borders; build the wall near populated areas and monitor the rest with drones and patrols. Over 81% of illegal immigration comes from our southern border, 11.5 million over the past decade. In 2013, 2,891,668 criminal and civil offenses were committed by illegal immigrants and now they make up 39% of the federal prison population. During their stay in our prison system they receive free medical and meals. They should repay the US taxpayer by providing labor to build the wall.
