Our mandate is to assist individuals with their goals in employment, training and education with a special emphasis on the urban Aboriginal population. Anishnabeg Outreach is an incorporated non-profit organization guided by a volunteer Board of Directors. We work primarily with the non-profit sector and are guided by a clear mission and set of values. We provide Aboriginal people with access to culturally appropriate services and strive to support individuals with direction and assistance to overcome barriers. We encourage individual exploration of avenues that will lead to self-sufficiency and success. Our team is multi-disciplinary and promotes a holistic approach to life long career decision making. **Apatisiwin** Formerly known as the O-GI (OFIFC-GREAT) Initiative (which signified the partnership between the OFIFC and Grand River Employment and Training), the Apatisiwin Programme is a new initiaitve with the goal "to provide opportunities for urban Aboriginal people of Ontario to better their economic lives through culturally based services in an employment focused partnership environment." Anishnabeg Outreach is also an Employment Ontario provider
