Description

All AquaRidge™ Backgrounds are custom made and unique. Each background is hand carved and formed using polystyrene foam and then layered with completely fish safe materials. There is absolutely no concrete used. AquaRidge™ backgrounds will not effect your PH in anyway whatsoever. Each background can be sealed, at the customers request, with an epoxy resin coating, Pond Armor, which will add additional strength and durability (recommended when stocking algae eaters). Every background is broken up into pieces to ensure that there is proper circulation behind the background. This method avoids the build up of wastes. Smaller Slim models usually can be installed with no silicone. However, every Ridge model must be installed into a clean empty aquarium with 100% Silicone and allowed to cure at least 5 days after installation. The problem with most 3D backgrounds is fish can usually always find away behind the background, this is not possible with AquaRidge™ Backgrounds.
