Azure is a small, mobile, holistic health practice. I offer Touchpoint Reflexology and Usuki Reiki services in the comfort of your home or office.

Description

Holistic health practices and services are important in supporting the development of sustained health and wellness. A practitioners goal is to work with a client to create a realistic health goal and plan to promote balance in the individual's life. When used as a compliment to conventional health care, holistic modalities can create balance, counteract side effects of certain treatments, and work as an illness prevention tool by reducing stress and increasing circulation. Reflexology is a 'hands on' modality that uses finger or thumb pressure on specific points/areas on the hands and feet to provide positive effects to the entire body. Reflexology should never cause pain. Full relaxation is essential to promote good blood flow and help heal any injuries. Some examples of what reflexology has been used for: promote relaxation, help lower high blood pressure, relieve muscular pain in hands and feet, relieve discomforts from pregnancy, help circulation in diabetics, reduce frequency of colds and infections, and help rid the body of toxins. Reiki is an ancient 'lay on hands' modality that uses the bodies natural energy fields to promote positive healing and relaxation. Light pressure is applied to a clients head, back, arms, legs, hands and feet to bring awareness within the clients body through touch. Reiki has been found to promote deep relaxation, inner awareness, and pain relief. Some clients also use Reiki to help heal emotional traumas in conjunction with counseling. All services can be provided in your home, office, or any location of your choice. I bring all supplies to and from location. In office sessions can be booked Thursdays at the Lucina wellness center; 9505-163 Street Edmonton Alberta.
