Description

We offer 6 guest rooms on the first or second floor of the inn. The room interiors are bright, warm, and inviting, and furnished in the contemporary style. All the guest rooms feature luxurious queen-sized, high beds, with white duvets, linens and writing desks. There is ample storage space and full-length mirrors in each room. All of the second floor guest rooms have sitting/reading areas. The rooms either overlook colorful Baldwin Street, the inner courtyard, or the sunny South view of the CN Tower, Frank Gehry's Art Gallery of Ontario and the backyard garden. We have three modern shared washrooms. Common amenities include a second floor lounge with a library of videos and books, an executive desk equipped with a personal computer, and satellite TV. Enjoy your premium continental breakfast in our dining room or outdoors in our private courtyard. Free email access, high speed wireless internet service and US and Canada long distance telephone calls are included with your stay.

How To Get to Baldwin Village Inn

From Pearson Toronto International Airport: Bus Shuttle Airport Express is approximately $20 one-way. After arriving in downtown Toronto, get off at the Bus Terminal. From the Bus terminal, the Inn is a short taxi ride or alternatively a 10-15 minute walk. Subway: Look for the directions to the TTC (Toronto Transit Commission). Hop on the 192 Red Rocket to Kipling subway station. Take the eastbound train to the University/Bloor station stop and transfer to the University subway line – southbound. Get off at the St. Patrick subway station and follow signs to Dundas St. west, walking in the direction of the Art Gallery of Ontario for 3 blocks to McCaul St. Turn right on McCaul St. for 2 blocks to Baldwin St. Cost for the TTC is approximately $3.00 per ride. Driving to Toronto via the 401 Westbound: Take the Don Valley Parkway south exit. Exit Bloor St. off the DVP and drive west on Bloor St. to St. George St. past Avenue Rd. Turn left on St. George through the University of Toronto campus. St. George becomes Beverley St. after College St. Turn left on Baldwin St. (make sure to make a full stop on the stop sign, police strictly enforce the 4 way stop at the intersection). Driving to Toronto via the 401 Eastbound: Take Hwy 427 south exit to the QEW to Toronto which becomes the Gardiner Expressway. Exit on Spadina St. and drive North to Queen St. Turn right on Queen St. and then left on Beverley St to Baldwin St. (6 blocks from Queen St.). Turn right on Baldwin St. (make sure to make a full stop on the stop sign, police strictly enforce the 4 way stop at the intersection). Train - Union Station: Transfer to the TTC (Toronto Transit Commission) University Line and get off on St. Patrick subway station. Follow the exit signs to Dundas St. West. Walk to McCaul St. (3 blocks) and take a right, and then turn left on Baldwin. (Walk from subway line is 5 to 10 minutes). Cost for the TTC is $3.00 per person. Bus Station (Greyhound): 10 minutes, take Dundas St. West past University to McCaul St. Turn right on McCaul and then left on Baldwin St.
