Rod Basell began Basell Electrical Contracting in 2002 following the collapse of Ansett Airlines. His back ground was in electrical installation and instrumentation for the Department of Civil Aviation. He had 25 years of experience in domestic, commercial and industrial electrics including fault finding and repairs, installation, service and maintenance. Callen Basell (Rod's son) joined the company in 2003 after completing his apprenticeship in electrical mechanics and communications. With him he brought knowledge in data and voice communications, fiber optic cabling, commercial shop and office fit outs and fault finding. Since then the company has moved forward in leaps and bounds. We have branched out into air conditioning sales, service and installation. We strive to do the very best possible job for the very best possible price. We stand behind our workmanship 100%.
