Welcome to the wonderful world of the Birmingham Swim School! Our focus is to create a safe and respectful environment where children can relax and truly enjoy the experience of learning to swim. We believe consistency is the best way to master aquatic skills. We offer year round continuous lessons so you can start anytime! Our instructors are trained in Australian Laurie Lawrence’s methods. Laurie Lawrence established his swim school in Queensland, Australia in 1966. His program has been developed over 40 years and incorporates the child’s social, emotional, and physical growth & development into the swimming lessons. We follow gentle learn to swim methods that recognize the child’s physical capabilities and readiness to perform aquatic skills
