Hi! I'm Jessica and I really love my children, my husband and making randomly awsome things! I have been learning soap making from my Mom and about herbs and nature since I can remember and recently decided to create a small business to share what I have learned over the years! My oldest daughter, Aspen comes to all of the farmer's markets with me and loves telling everyone we are just like GYPSIES every Saturday! My Dad has also been a big influence on this journey. He can litterally make ANYTHING. I'm not kidding. Ask me about the bar stool that goes 50mph... He is awesome, and crazy and also has bees, which he shares the honey and wax for my soaps! Love him. When I was Aspen's age, my Grandmother would have quilting circles set up. Her and her friends would hand quilt the most amazing pieces. I would play under the quilt on it's stands like a fort. They would sometimes let me help with the tacking or the yarn and I felt so special! What a fun and natural way to "teach" and spark an interest for quilting in a small girl. She gave me my first sewing machine (a clunky metal Singer from the 70's that I cherish) and my life has never been the same. Soap. Oh my goodness, soap. I adore soap, love soap, live and breathe the soap making process and really look forward to those "special requests"! Among the more special of requests is a mothers-milk soap and I also make a fabulous line of Craft Beer soaps! If you live in Green Mtn Falls, or near downtown Colorado Springs, you can find my soaps in Baby Cotton Bottoms and also in Stones Bones and Wood (by the pantry). I also learned quilting from the marvelous women in my life and it is a true blessing to be able to carry these traditions on in my life, and hopefully one day see my daughters show interest in learning these ways.
