At Botany Barn Canada we value honesty, simplicity, and respect for the environment. If you’ve ever read the ingredient list on a typical beauty care product you may have noticed that there is often a long list of detergents, preservatives, and harmful ingredients that our bodies can do without! That is why at Botany Barn Canada, all of our handmade soaps, lip balms and other botanical skincare products are made from simple, natural ingredients. We rely on the cold process method of naturally saponifying oils to make ours soaps, and we only use colours and scents that can be distilled from nature, rather than made in a lab. We love to colour our soaps with clays, herbs, vegetables, cocoa powder, and other things you might find in your own kitchen! We also strive to source organic oils for our products as much as possible to ensure that our customers are receiving products that are free of chemical pesticides and products that are produced through sustainable practices. All of our recipes are therefore 100% palm oil free. We also do everything we can think of to minimize waste, such as the use of recycled materials, minimal packaging, and rebatched soap! All of our products are handmade in small batches so that anything you order is as fresh as possible and 100% authentic.
