Boxfull Boxers: Our Story. We are a small breeder, located in Perth, Western Australia. Our prefix "Boxfull" represents that Boxers have made our lives full. It all began in 2011 when we (Stuart and Steph) decided to add a puppy to our family. Stu grew up with Border Collies on large property near the Yarra Valley in Victoria, but had always wanted a Boxer, and convinced me that a Boxer was the dog for us. After looking at many Boxer breeders around Australia, we put our name down for a puppy with Brian and Sue McKie of Bokson Boxers, and a soon after we took home our first Boxer puppy - Bokson Chatterbox (Bell). We instantly fell in love with our Bell, who seemed to be half dog, and half funny human child?! (I'm sure many Boxers owners and lovers can relate). Sue and Brian McKie are the reason we were able to begin our Boxer-filled life, and they have also helped us begin our journey into breeding Boxers. They play an integral role in the Boxfull Boxers' story, and continually provide us with a wealth of advice and support. Through the small Perth Boxer community, we met Vickie Clements of Benfelds Boxers. Vickie offered to help us introduce Bell to the show ring, and due to her amazing handling of a typically playful Boxer untrained in the show ring, Bell has come away with multiple wins in her class. It is because of Vickie's mentoring, Stuart and I have been able to learn most of we know about the Boxer breed. Before meeting Vickie, we loved our Boxer for everything that she was (and is), but Vickie allowed us to develop a sound understanding, love, and appreciation of the Boxer breed. We are so grateful for everything Vickie has done (and still does) for us, and we are lucky to call her our close friend both in the Boxer scene, and on a personal level. Boxfull Boxers is the result of much research, studying, and also support and advice from ethical, experienced breeders. We will not breed before rigorous health testing, and ensuring that our dogs are of optimum heath, and breeding quality. We will continually strive to be ethical in all regards of breeding our Boxers. All our animals are our family, who live in our home beside us, and we will only allow our puppies to go to loving, suitable homes. We want Oscar's Law! http://www.oscarslaw.org
