Here at Brighton Guitar Repair your guitar will receive a personal and professional service. My workshop is located at my home so I can keep prices down whilst providing a top quality service. I work closely with my customers in order to set up YOUR guitar to YOUR playing style. I aim to have a turn around of about a week but I can do rapid repairs if you have a gig coming up. Just let me know your needs! I only use what I deem to be the best products and parts, including Virtuoso premium cleaner and polish which protects the finish and leaves your guitar looking better than new!

General Info

Almost all new guitars come from the factory without being set up - this means that the strings may be too high; there may be fret buzz; you may find the strings are out of tune further up the fret board; your pick ups are different volumes, etc - this means that you aren’t getting the most of the instrument that you’ve shelled out your hard-earned cash for! This can also be true of your old guitars that haven’t been set up for a while as humidity, air pressure, even the odd knock, can cause it to not play it’s best and the electronics to crackle. All of my set ups involve adjusting: - Action - Intonation - Neck contour - Pick up balance - Nut height - Electronics cleaning - Body clean and polish The price for this service is £20 per guitar. An extra charge of £5 is added for guitars with Floyd Rose style trems to cover the extra work involved with setting up these systems. You can either provide your own strings or I will add the price of a set to the total.
