Monthly workshops are held at the Shadbolt Centre for the Arts on the second Thursday of every month from 7:30 pm to 10:00 pm, September through June. Check the boards outside reception for exact room location (usually studio 104). The Shadbolt Centre is located at 6450 Deer Lake Avenue. Drop in visitors always welcome. Spoken INK Reading Series is held on the third Tuesday of every month (except July and August). Open mic sign-up is at 7:30 pm, for an 8:00 pm start, at La Fontana Caffe, 101-3701 East Hastings in Burnaby (NE corner of Boundary and Hastings).
