Dr. Ezra Bar possesses more than thirty years of professional experience that includes Leadership and Management, Business and Enterprise Architecture, Business Analysis and Project Management, Consulting and Research. He addresses business and technical points of view with expertise in Business Process Analysis/ Re-engineering (BPR)/ Management (BPM). Ezra’s diversified projects have spanned across many industries and businesses, including the public sector and manufacturing. Graduated in 1979 as Industrial and Management Engineer, Dr. Bar's MBA specialization was in IT Management and Business Process Re-engineering (2002) and he obtains a PhD in Management of Engineering and Technology (2008). As a Business Architect and Senior Business Analyst, Ezra has focused at streamlining business processes, aligning IT with the organization's business strategy and enabling the enterprise to achieve its business objectives and goals. He developed Business Architecture Models, by documenting and mapping the as-is current-state, the envisioned to-be future-state, and developing a road-map of the projects required to get to that desired state. Ezra’s Strategic Business Analysis projects’ deliverables included, among others, Business Case documents with gap, feasibility and cost/ benefit analyses. As an IT Project Manager, Ezra has managed projects from end-to-end, created project charters and project plans, managed and led projects and teams for both development and procurement (RFP) projects. Many of Ezra’s projects included the implementation phase of new business processes and/or systems, enabling smooth transition and organizational transformation. Among his academic activities, Dr.Ezra Bar is teaching BBA students (Bachelor of Business Administration) online courses in Production and Operations Management at Yorkville University (located in Fredericton, NB, Canada).
