The Calgary Food Bank distributes healthy emergency food to individuals, families and the agencies that serve them.
General Info
Individuals and families in temporary emergency situations may request up to 3 hampers in a 12 month period; 4 more may be accessed with a referral from a community agency. The first step is to call the Hamper Request Line at 403.253.2055. We follow Canada's Food Guide to ensure balanced nutritional content. Each emergency hamper contains 7 days of groceries for each person in the household. In 2013, 130,000 Calgarians received food through our Emergency Food Hamper Program.Company Rating
