Description

Community Access to Literacy and Learning (C.A.L.L.) in Abbotsford matches volunteer tutors with adults who want to improve their reading, writing, basic math, basic computer, or English speaking skills. We help individual meet their goals for basic literacy, quality of life, employment, and self sufficiency. Newcomers are also given the opportunity to improve their English while learning about life in Canada. Hours of operation: Monday: 10 AM-3 PM; 4:30-9:30 PM Tuesday: 10 AM-3PM Wednesday: 10 AM-3 PM; 4:30-9:30 PM Thursday: 10 AM-3 PM Friday: 4:30-9:30 PM Please note: We are closed each day from 12 noon-1 PM. Evening and weekend hours are subject to flexibility. Please call to confirm.

FOR LEARNERS: C.A.L.L. provides FREE one-on-one tutoring for adult literacy, English language, basic math, and/or computer skills. You will also: meet new people, learn more about Abbotsford (if you are new to Abbotsford), learn more about Canada and Canadian society (if you are new to Canada). FOR VOLUNTEERS: This program needs the help of dedicated and caring volunteers to fulfill its mission. C.A.L.L. offers training and ongoing support to its volunteers. Learners meet with their volunteer tutors 2-4 hours per week.
