Canadian Quality Inspections (CQI) was established in 1989 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. CQI is certified by the Canadian Welding Bureau to Canadian Standards Association (CSA) National Standard W178.1, as a Certified Welding Inspection Organization. After 23 years, Canadian Structural Inspection Services Ltd. has expanded to form Canadian Quality Inspections Ltd. We have more than doubled our inspection staff and have united with AJP Engineering Services and DMS Industrial to offer an advanced list of services in the most efficient manner. AJP Engineering Services compliments our inspection and testing services with a complete engineering department capable of providing engineered weld repair procedures, certification and structural & mechanical design services. Canadian Quality Inspections Ltd. provides a wide range of visual inspection and non-destructive testing, vendor quality surveillance, quality control and quality assurance. All our inspection services are supported by a full-time engineering department that allows us to propose solutions in a time-effective manner. Client needs are more efficiently handled and costly downtime is minimized Our offices are staffed by qualified professional inspection and testing personnel, highly experienced in various inspection and testing fields. CQI offers Quality Assurance, Visual Weld Inspection and Non-Destructive Testing services to organizations dealing with structural steel and bridge fabrication, expediting, site erection, mechanical maintenance, pressure piping, coating applications, tanks, pressure vessels, mobile and overhead cranes, lifting devices, rail and road vehicles, and corrosion investigation. Special inspection services are also available. With decades of experience, a highly qualified team and commitment to excellence, we have created a company that has what it takes to meet the needs of industry in Canada and the United States. Over the years, CQI has also been involved with inspection projects throughout major regions of the world.
