“Any dream will do!” What is Canadian Showcase? Canadian Showcase is a nationally recognized leader in performing arts education. Canadian Showcase is a registered non-profit educational institution in the entertainment industry which is governed by a Board of Directors. Canadian Showcase is the finest in performing arts training, international travel and production of spectacular musical theatre productions. With over 30,000 local children and youth educated, we continue to promote and remain dedicated to the growth of our multitalented young Canadian artists. Since 1982, we have been playing an important role in the career development of many wonderful children and youth in our community. The majority of our students have secured professional occupations in the entertainment field or have attained success in their field of study. The structure of the program fosters empowerment, dependability and commitment. It encourages children and youth to make social connections and nurtures a sense of belonging and unconditional acceptance. It gives children the leeway to make mistakes and acquire self-regulation and leadership skills. Canadian Showcase cultivates and deepens every child’s sense of self-worth, self-confidence and self-esteem thereby improving their success throughout their life. Canadian Showcase Chorus Corporation is also very family- oriented. The whole bottom floor of the studio is opened up to performers and parents to enjoy a cozy couch, to sit around the kitchen table and have tea with other parents or to kick your feet up and watch a little television while you wait for your child. Sleepovers, potluck suppers, house boat and other trips, birthday and Christmas parties are just some of the family events that you and your child can look forward to be invited to. Canadian Showcase gives back to the community! Aside from the many performances that Canadian Showcase puts on for the community to enjoy all year long, they are in the process of forming and building partnerships with local non-profit agencies to promote performing arts, exercise and inclusion and integration with special needs and at risk children, youth and adults.
