Carlson Systems is a leading distributor of the most recognized brands of construction and packaging machines, tools and supplies in the industry - supported by our network of service and repair technicians. The company has evolved over the years to encompass over 60 locations in the United States and Mexico, and have been in the Lincoln area since 1976 and at our current location since 2001. This success story had its humble beginning in Omaha, Nebraska, when in 1947, Carl and Julia Carlson founded Carlson Stapler and Supply with nothing more than a $350 cash investment, a used file cabinet, and their own enthusiasm. In the decades that followed, the company added to its product line and expanded its territory throughout the Midwest, eventually adding southwestern locations as well. The company name was simplified to Carlson Systems, but kept the familiar CSS logo and the founders© philosophy to provide the highest quality products along with outstanding service and support to our customers. In 2006, Carlson Systems was joined by Mid-Atlantic Fasteners. Sharing a similar beginning, Mid-Atlantic Fasteners was established out of a garage in Baltimore, MD just after World War II as a Duo-Fast distributor. Most of their early customers were upholstery shops, furniture manufacturers and millwork companies. Primarily serving the mid-Atlantic region of the east coast, the business grew over the years and began selling competitive lines, which allowed them to expand into new markets with new customers. Another acquisition occurred in 2013 with the addition of Western Tool Supply Company. Western Tool Supply was founded in 1982, with its headquarters in Salem, Oregon. The addition of Western Tool Supply expanded Carlson System©s presence in the northwestern U.S. The companies were a good fit because, like Carlson Systems, Western Tool Supply had a strong devotion to customer satisfaction through breadth of product, product expertise, great order fulfillment, with the added benefit of tool and equipment repair service. Focusing on fastening, packaging and product assembly systems, the offices and warehouses of Carlson Systems,Mid-Atlantic Fasteners and Western Tool Supply serve thousands of customers across the country and into Mexico. A group of problem solvers, we provide ideas and solutions in both the products we offer and the methods we propose. We offer the highest quality products along with outstanding service and support to our customers. After all these years in business, we recognize the remarkable successes we have shared and the thousands of relationships we have built.
