The Cat Cuddle Cafe in Red Hill, Brisbane is a pawsome space to get your kitty fix and meet adoptable rescues. Bookings essential.
Cats are our passion and rescue is our mission. We wanted to create the perfect environment for cat lovers to enjoy and interact with cats. To fulfill our mission of rescuing a ridiculous amount of cats, our cats will be highly trained to make you fall in love with them, ultimately leading to more adoptions. Seriously, they will be working it. All of our kitties will be rescue cats. Unlike other cat café’s around the world, our cats will be up for adoption. Our adoption process though, is very stringent. Don’t think you are just going to walk out with one of our cuddle stars without being given the Spanish Inquisition. We need to know that you have considered adding a fur baby or two to your family very seriously. This commitment is for the life of the cat and could be more than 20 years.

Positively Connecting Communities with genuine conversation and mobile laundry and shower services. We are Australia’s first mobile laundry service providing homeless people with access to free washing/drying facilities. We are a new not-for-profit organisation run by volunteers. We want to harness the energy of the community who want to help people in need. Portable washing facilities, specialised hygiene packs and an alliance with other local organisations will work to achieve these goals.
LifeFlight is a not-for-profit aeromedical charity that relies on the support of community to keep flying. Donations gratefully accepted. Every year the iconic blue and yellow choppers RACQ LifeFlight Rescue help hundreds of sick or injured patients. LifeFlight is regularly sent to serious accidents, where early medical intervention can often be the difference between life and death. Crews are made up of a Pilot, Critical Care Doctor, Aircrewman and Intensive Care Paramedic or Nurse. On standby 24/7, helicopters can be in the air within minutes of being tasked. After 35 years of service, LifeFlight’s biggest supporters are still the communities in which we operate.
