The Chinese Dance School of Saskatchewan offers lessons in various traditional and contemporary Chinese dances.

Description

Various Chinese dances are taught at CDSS. These include classical dances such as the fan and ribbon dances, as well as folk dances from Chinese minority groups. Our students have several opportunities to perform each season and authentic costumes are provided.

General Info

Students are divided by age as follows: Juniors (Up to age 8) Senior Girls (Ages 8-12) Youth (Ages 13+) Adults The age ranges are approximate and children can be placed in classes based on their height and/or skill level. All classes are on Sunday afternoons and the season runs from September to May. The tentative class schedule for the 2015-2016 season will be Youth (13+) 12:30-2:00 pm Junior (Up to 8) 2:00-3:30 pm Senior Girls (8-12) 3:30-5:00 pm Adults 5:00-6:30 pm
