Welcome to the official page of San Jose's Christmas in the Park. http://www.christmasinthepark.com/ An Annual Event that brings 450,000 people to Downtown San Jose from the day after Thanksgiving to January 1st Each year, the two-acre park is transformed into a holiday fantasy with over 60 musical and animated exhibits and glittering lights and the 60-foot Community Giving Tree. Some of the original displays are housed in one of the largest exhibits, the Lima Train, and include a melting snowman, caroling mice and elf woodcrafters. A 25-foot Christmas tree surrounded by the animated 12 Days of Christmas exhibit and Santa's Booth welcome park visitors. Guests enter a winter wonderland of lights, songs and entertainment by local schools and groups, and stroll through a forest of trees decorated by San Jose schools, community groups and businesses. Christmas in the Park is supported through fundraising efforts by the volunteer Board of Directors and is free to the public. Children can have their photograph taken with Santa Claus, watch the nightly entertainment and enjoy refreshments.

Come and visit Santa Claus and his elves at Plaza de Cesar Chevez Park starting the day after Thanksgiving as we transform the park into a winter wonderland. He'll be there all season making his list and checking it twice so remember to be on your best behavior! All events are free and open to the public. Bring your family, friends, loved ones or reindeer pals to this magical event that has been a part of San Jose for more than 50 years!
