If you are looking for a beautiful cake that will bring the room to a halt, then look no more! At Cakes by Design, I make specialty cakes at your request. Whether it be a giant cupcake, or your favourite sports team, it can be done! However, I require 48 hours notice for a small order, and 1 week for a large order so that I can make your cake dreams come true! Cakes by Design is a cakery that began in March of 2009, when I made a custom cake out of roll fondant for the first time. I have been making cakes for a long time out of whip cream and butter cream, and was excited when the opportunity arose to use fondant. After my first specialty cake, family and friends began to request more of my creations, and I searched for and practiced techniques that allowed me to evolve as a baker. The word spread, and I began doing specialty cupcakes, and began to receive orders from friends of friends. Now, I am creating cakes for quinceañeras, weddings, and birthdays. I am passionate about making cakes and cupcakes, and truly enjoy bringing smiles to those that receive them!
