A solely owner/operated company, CMFG produces basic men’s collared shirts, designed to be versatile, classic and enduring. Each garment is designed, cut and sewn in Winnipeg. Made by the owner in small batches, each offering is limited. Made to outlast trends and endure the elements, each product is made entirely in-house with a thoroughness that runs counter to the fast-fashion industry. The name is derived from the old English “common-weal”, which means “common well-being”. The aim is to create while considering the well-being of producer, process and product alike. Made in Winnipeg's historic garment district.
