The Criterion Hotel @ Carrington is a small, old-school, street corner local pub, on the outskirts of inner city of Newcastle and in the harbourside suburb of Carrington. New owners, Mick & Deb are giving the pub a makeover the next few months hoping to reveal some of the buildings original features and maintain any that still remain, and turn it back in to the social hub of the community it once was. Whether you want to quench your thirst or satisfy your appetite, The Criterion Pub & Kitchen offers great beer, wine, ciders and beverages, well priced wholesome food and a friendly welcoming atmosphere. Friendly conversation, Sports on the Big Screen TV's, and lots of weekly activities such as Pub Quiz Trivia on Tuesday Nights, Raffles Thursday Night & Saturday Noon, and Live Music Friday Nights & Sunday afternoons. Our Kitchen serves food 7 days a week for LUNCH & DINNER, with great week night specials and everchanging Blackboard Specials, our focus is on good honest, value for money Food.
