Description

Design is a mountain, and I am a mountaineer. It can be challenging, but I always remain calm and relaxed, and will approach any creative issue in the design industry with enthusiasm, seriousness, flare and a respect for all those around me. Take the time to get to know me, and you'll soon appreciate my occasional wacky approach to things. One thing you will notice about me instantly is that I’m not so vain, but I do think this bio is about me. When skiing down the design mountain you’ll find I am strongest when going down the Brand design and Typography runs. I also tend to venture off the beaten track into Motion graphics, Illustrations and Publication design where I can competently complete each run. If you have not noticed by now, other then design I love to ski and I like to link them closely in my life as I feel they influence each other. Other then skiing, I am an avid soccer fan/player and I also wakeboard a lot in summer. I'm from the inner west suburbs of Sydney, my name is Alex De Santis, I'm twenty-one years of age, in my Fourth and final year of university studying a Bachelor of Design in Visual Communications and I might just be able to offer some fresh perspective.
