Debbie Rae Dancers are renowned for their professionalism, talent and ability to entertain. The confidence & discipline the students gain from performing benefits them throughout their lives.They have been extremely successful winning many awards in competitions and eisteddfods in Sydney, on the Central Coast, Newcastle and locally. The students are highly acclaimed and have a strong reputation in the Hunter Valley particularly for their tapping work. Many former students have made a career in dance, performing in musicals such as The Boy from Oz, Crazy for You and A Chorus Line. Others have danced on the Show Boat & many have performed on cruise ships sailing the Mediterranean & the Caribbean seas. Other ex-students are now operating their own very successful studios. In 2006, Debbie realised it was time to expand & ventured into opening another branch in Medowie. Miss Jenny was appointed the operator of this studio & we haven’t looked back. Debbie Rae Dancers – Medowie has flourished over the past 6 years, it is still growing& has earned its own reputation as a very professional studio with an enormous amount of talent. Both studios offer a full timetable of classes in many styles of dance for students wishing to fulfil their dreams & make a career in dance or just have fun & make lots of new friends. Either way, every student learns the art, the discipline & the love of dance!
