In 1960, Tom and James Monaghan purchased "DomiNicks" pizza delivery store. 5 years later they changed the name to Domino's Pizza Inc. It all went uphill from there! By 1997, Domino's Pizza had opened 1500 store outside of the United States. In less than 3 years, Domino's Pizza was ranked 5th amongst the major American fast food concerns active internationally, making it the world's largest pizza home delivery company.
