Description

Dr. Gilliard graduated with his Doctor of Chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2015, receiving Clinic Honours recognizing proficiency during his clinical internships. He also completed his acupuncture certification with McMaster University in 2015 by completing the Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Program. Prior to all of this, he completed a Bachelor of Kinesiology, graduating with first-class honours at Brock University in 2011. Dr. Gilliard strongly believes in the ability to stay active as a key element to functional well-being. Finding and treating the source of a patient’s complaint, rather than a single painful spot, allows him to help patients stay active in whatever capacity they desire. Dr. Gilliard believes in working with patients to achieve their goals, and combines a variety of treatment approaches including manual therapy, acupuncture, modalities, and rehabilitative exercises to impart evidence-based treatments.
