Drew McTaggart of Dear Rouge had this to say about Ryan's work: "Ninety per cent of [Black to Gold] was produced through Ryan Worsley at Echoplant. Gavin Brown and Howard Redekopp came in early on and kind of massaged the songs. We finished the tracks with Ryan. He’s out in Coquitlam, and a lot of Vancouver musicians don’t venture out there, but through us and some other bands in the Peak Performance Project he’s making a name for himself. He really cares and makes the album sound really great. We sent the album we did with him to Universal (the label releasing Black to Gold) and they didn’t need to change anything." Echoplant is a professional level studio providing music recording, production, songwriting and mixing services. Owner and chief engineer, Ryan Worsley, has over 15 years experience producing, recording, writing for and playing with bands throughout Canada and the US. Check out our newly acquired Studio B, designed by the late John Vrtacic (Warehouse, the Armoury). It boasts a large two-story echo chamber, live room, sizable and, not to mention, very comfortable control room. Upstairs is a fully (and newly) furnished two-bedroom suite, complete with kitchen and bathroom (incl. shower). Less than 10 minutes away from Studio A, Studio B is easily accessed from the Mary Hill Bypass or Lougheed Highway and conveniently located within walking distance of Port Coquitlam Station (bus loop/Westcoast Express). Bands from out of town may opt for the Studio and Stay Package to take advantage of low-cost on-site lodging for their stay while recording at Echoplant.
