This is the brainchild of a crochet, knit (and frankly all yarncraft) addict. I create one-of-a-kind objects and now I need a bigger audience. I love a challenges, just give me ypour ideas, and I will make them into reality! :)

HANDICRAFTS ARE MY ADDICTION! I love to crochet, first and foremost, but enjoy all yarn crafts. I love how yarn feels, and how I feel when I am able to create something beautiful, something useful, something that is related to me as an idea, and I can make concrete. I use patterns on occasion, but most of my favourite things have been inspired by people and things and created from such inspiration. Some of my favourite jobs were: a Gay Pride comforter in the 'perfect' rainbow colours (very specific to the client's direction), a family of Christmas stockings (including a dog's), in antique reds, creams, and greens and personalized, several afghans made to match décor, or colour/shape preferences, and most recently, crocheted veggies for a child's play. I also make every type of hat, from the most conservative to the craziest. I have made a 'Medusa' wig, cloaks and purses, knapsacks and socks. I have made objects for an entire class, and sachels for 40 children at VBS. One of my strengths is an open mind. This allows me to work happily with a client who wants to see and approve every step in the creative process, to working with the client whose only direction is that the item should be "easy to wrap up in, brownish and something else, and it should make her feel all warm and fuzzy”. I love the client's process as much as I love my own creation process. Another of my strengths is colour. I love colour and have a good eye for beautiful combining. I know that one gray will suit a blue you love, but another will clash. I can see several colours will be subtle in one combination, but another will be more dramatic. I can create in monotone, of course, although I usually like to add texture to one colour objects...however, the client knows what he or she wants, and I will accommodate. Here’s how I work: I may ask a million questions, to make sure I am clear on your vision. I love being sent pictures, colour scraps, texture preferences (really soft, structured, lacy etc., etc.), who it is for (e.g. children need fibres that are very washable and do not need fussy care; a pet owner may want a ‘fleck’ in the yarn so animal hair does not show as quickly etc.), fibre preferences (natural fibres, which are most expensive, and can require special care, VS. blends, which mix natural and artificial fibres together, VS. acrylics or artificial yarns, which are most varied and least expensive), measurements (you don't have to tell me you wear a '12', for example; you just send me specific measurements, and the object is made for you), and any other questions that are specific to your individual job. I will quote you a price base on price of yarn and hours I anticipate it will take me to finish the job; if it takes longer, you will not be charged more (unless you have added to the job). I have invested in apps that help with this process, but I tend to keep things as reasonable as possible. This is my baby...thanks for your interest!
