Mark Byrne Management was established in 1996 to service commercial talent to Film, TV, Advertising, Live Entertainment and Theatrical Producers, expanding quickly with immediate success across all areas of media and entertainment. A strong industry reputation for discovering, developing and nurturing of multi skilled artists allowed MBM to form ongoing international management partnerships in the US and UK with its roster of artists, actors, celebrities, musical theatre artists and creative’s. MBM talent appeared globally in advertising , film, TV, Broadway, in the West End and throughout Asia. After signing its first music client in 2005 to Sony Music, Mark Byrne was invited to partner via Sony Music Australia in a new label, Peppermintblue Records in 2006, and MBM added Music management to its areas of artist development. MBM acquired Detour Management, Australia's premiere Dance, Casting and Choreographic agency in 2007, to maximize the new business opportunities to coincide with the emergence of dance in popular culture via TV, corporate entertainment and advertising. MBM was invited to manage the Network Ten contestants from So You Think You Can Dance, as well as providing to Fremantle Media the show’s host, judge and a long list of choreographers and industry experts. The same year MBM expanded its services to commercial book publishing and literary management by partnering in Lisa Hanrahan and Mark Byrne Literary Management. Success followed in the literary arena with various signings - Rae Morris's Make Up Book, Scott McGregor's Fix It and Big Boys' Toys, Monica Trapaga's Leaving Home and Natalie Bassingthwaighte and Nicole Moore's collaboration with ABC, Sistahood. Rock Chicks was the first independent title conceived and created under the group and is still enjoying international publication success with other titles to follow . In 2007 Mark Byrne Music joined the group of management companies. Natalie Bassingthwaightes debut solo album 1000 Stars debuted No 1 , and continues to enjoy market leader success with a top 3 debut solo album and multi platinum top ten singles for newly signed Artist, Timomatic. In 2012, Entertainment Management acquired the Mark Byrne Management group. With clients as diverse as our management skills, the list includes; Natalie Bassingthwaighte, Toni Pearen, Maggie Kirkpatrick, Richard Brancatisano, Ben Mingay, Matt Lee, Sharni Vinson, Timomatic, Didier Cohen, Michael Cormick and Casey Burgess, amongst others. We are constantly seeking new and innovative career options and collaborations. Our team is commercially, technically and creatively market leaders via inovation and new models, with diverse contacts and influence in all aspects of the entertainment and broadcast industry. In 2013, EM expanded with Entertainment Casting being commissioned to cast Disney's The Lion King. EM is focused on the development of partnerships to further the development of its Artists unique IP in Media, Live , Brand Integration, TV formats, publishing as well as now being sort for the 360 provision of Creative Direction to Artists, Events and Media
