Focus… That’s our philosophy in a single word. When we envisioned Everything Concealed Carry it was as a result of experiences we and others had when purchasing our firearms to protect our families. Americans recognize the need to have the ability to protect themselves against a changing world yet don’t have the desire to become “gun people”. A friend of mine recently received his conceal carry license and began shopping for his everyday carry weapon, I asked him how the search was going on a few occasions and he finally told me “they all just look like black guns to me, I don’t know the difference or even what I need”. The next weekend we went shopping together, I explained the features of each gun we looked at and talked to him about his options on how he would carry his weapon. Once he had a clear understanding he made his choice and purchased his handgun. Well that was the start of it, Everything Concealed Carry starts with Training. Training: Everything Concealed Carry offers the Kentucky CCDW curriculum. We recognize that the experience level of each student varies, so we offer classes that suit the needs of the students, not a one size fits all approach. Some of our classes are “women only” classes because we feel that it allows women a greater opportunity to ask questions and feel confident in their abilities to safely carry a firearm. If you have a group of 5 or more that would like to take class together we can arrange that for you, we will even conduct the training at your location. The Everything Concealed Carry CCDW classes spend more time on proper grips, stances, and overall development of shooting skills. During the classroom portion each student will be issued a rubber training pistol so you aren’t just shown how to grip the gun, you actually practice it. We talk about and demonstrate the safe carry, drawing, holstering and storage of your handgun. At the range you will receive one on one instruction with a qualified instructor and a demonstration of the techniques discussed in the classroom. Our goal is to make sure each student has a full understanding of their handguns, and how to properly and effectively use them within the confines of the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
