Working closely with the provincial football associations, we develop programs and resources for players, coaches, officials in the three disciplines of Tackle, Flag and Touch Football. Football Canada’s vision statement is “from playground to stadium” where players can participate in the game of football throughout a lifetime recreationally, competitively and internationally. / Fondé en 1884, Football Canada est l’organisme national de régie du football amateur au Canada et un fier membre de la Fédération internationale de football américain (IFAF). Travaillant de près avec les associations provinciales de football, nous élaborons des programmes et des ressources pour les joueurs, les entraîneurs, les officiels dans les trois disciplines du football avec contacts, de flag-football et de touch-football. Football Canada is the National Governing Body of Canadian Amateur Football, with an estimated Football participation demographic of 400,000 in Canada. This represents the tackle, touch and flag components including players, coaches, officials, administrators, men, women, girls and boys. Through the guidance of a volunteer Board of Directors and a full time office staff of five, Football Canada’s mission is “to initiate, sustain, and encourage programs, services and activities targeted at all levels, from the novice to the elite, which foster safe and ethical participation in amateur football.” / Football Canada est l’organisme national de régie du football amateur canadien, avec une population de football estimée à 400 000 à travers le pays.
