The idea of a Frangipani Sea is my idea of bliss.<3 Beauty on the surface, but true beauty at its depths. Much like the Indian Tapestries I fell in love with, which are pretty to look at but hold a deeper meaning. The Tapestries' mandela pattern represents a circle, as its Sanskrit meaning suggests. When the concentric structure is looked at or meditated upon, it is said to inspire a spiritual journey within. It is therefore meant as a tool of self enlightenment. At the very least, they are a beautiful unique piece of art, as all are individually made by screen printing on 100% cotton in Jaipur, India. They can be used for everything from bed covers or throws, sofa covers, picnics, at the beach, wall-hangings, for childrens' rooms, even make into tents! I have long had a love for crystals too. Each being made by the earth in its own time. Each having its own texture, form and colour. Each hold different spiritual meanings, therefore its beauty lies deeper than its surface appearance. So here I am with my sand dollar motif, 'the original frangipani flower of the sea' as I like to call it, sharing some of my passions and beliefs with you. No crystal or tapestry is the same.
