Glen Ewin Estate is a unique historic function venue set amongst the beautiful Adelaide Hills. Hidden away in a delightful and picturesque valley, rolling hills and mature trees frame the property’s tranquil lake and magnificent stone buildings - the perfect setting for any special occasion. Functions are hosted in either the 100 year old, baltic pine-insulated Pulpshed or the new heritage-style Gatehouse buildings. The Pulpshed and The Gatehouse can accommodate small intimate cocktail style parties to wonderful large sit down receptions. The lake, lawns and fine old trees make Glen Ewin the perfect venue for your event. An air of Provence "Down Under" pervades this Heritage listed property, only 25 minutes from the Adelaide CBD, offering a unique setting to which you can add your own personal touch. We have been delighted to host a range of functions over the years including many beautiful weddings, birthdays, corporate functions, product launches, christenings and more. We are able to make any private or corporate day a wonderful experience in an environment incomparable to the normal hotel or function centre. THE GATEHOUSE BISTRO & CELLAR DOOR: Enjoy a day out at Glen Ewin's Bistro & Cellar Door. With 7 local Adelaide Hills boutique wineries represented, there is something for every one to enjoy. Choose from over 20 wines to taste or buy it buy the glass or bottle. We have a few local beers as well. Located upstairs at The Gatehouse, the Bistro & Cellar Door with it's large deck and views that extend up the valley and garden is a wonderful place to visit for a lazy afternoon of indulgence. We serve delicious sharing platters and more substantial dishes for lunch. We also display all the Willabrand produce which are grown and made at Glen Ewin: Chocolate enrobed figs, glaced figs, jams, chutneys and more. STORAGE: Glen Ewin offers secure storage facilities for wine, vehicle and general storage in the heritage-listed Glen Ewin Jam Factory buildings, just 25 minutes from Adelaide CBD. Cellars available ranging from 35 dozen to 175 dozen. Climate controlled all year round. Pallet storage is also available.
