Nós, a ACGB-EUA, acreditamos que cada pessoa merece igual acesso à informação, ao conhecimento básico e à assistência social e outras. Nós acreditamos que oferecendo acesso a este conhecimento, compartilhando ideais, promovendo a tolerância e avançando alianças com outras institutuições comunitárias, estaremos a cultivar uma boa cidadania e a perpetuar uma estabilidade social eficaz e durável. Nós acreditamos que, oferecendo a oportunidade às pessoas, elas serão capazes de ganhar habilidades para adquirir o auto valor, a autoconfiança e a auto-suficiência, acabando por benificiar a inteira comunidade. ************ The Guinea-Bissau Community Association it is a non-profit [501 (c) (3)] community organization, which is a network aiming to connect families, individuals and youth. Our vision is for a community that promotes good values and respects and protects individuals' dignity and worthiness. We believe that every person deserves equal access to the common knowledge base that draws together its people, while recognizing our differing traditions and contributions. We believe that offering access to this shared knowledge, ideals, and tolerance will help close the gap between ethnic and racial groups, which is crucial for an effective citizenship and social stability. We believe that, given the opportunity, people are capable of obtaining skills to acquire self-worth, self-confidence and self-sufficiency, with the ultimate goal of self-empowerment within each community.
