Description

The HFHWE ReStore, located at 3064 Devon Dr. (behind Devonshire Mall) sells new and gently used building materials, appliances and solid surface furnishings that have been donated by our many community & strategic partners and individual donors. The funds generated in our ReStore cover all of HFHWE’s operating costs and a large portion of building costs – ensuring that every single cent of every single dollar donated – goes toward building projects right here in Windsor-Essex County.

General Info

The raising of funds for local Habitat Build projects is HFHWE’s main objective, but we also positively impact our community in two other ways. The first is by providing a source of affordable building products to the general public – especially useful to those trying to improve their living space on a limited budget. The second is by providing a viable alternative to the landfill --- diverting tens of thousands of pounds from the landfill every year. Every purchase made in the ReStore represents material being reclaimed and reused rather than destroyed.
