Description

Harjit has been a resident of Peel since he came to Canada in 1998 and actively involved with local politics since 2004. He is a real estate broker by profession, and has been working with Sutton for the past 14 years. Over these years, his hard work and dedication to serve others has led him to receive numerous awards, and seats on the Government Relations Advisory Council as well as the Professional Standards Committee for the Brampton Real Estate Board. In the last provincial election Harjit was the candidate for the Ontario PC Party from Bramalea-Gore-Malton. He's been a member of the party for over a decade and held numerous positions on Riding Associations (incl. Riding President) and was the regional director of the Ontario PC Fund for GTA West. Harjit is currently the Co-Chair of the Party's Policy Advisory Committee for Housing and Municipal Affairs. Within the community he's also very actively involved, and is a member of the Brampton Board of Trade, the Indo-Canada Chamber of Commerce, the Brampton Rotary Club, the Royal Canadian Legion, and the MS Society of Canada just to name a few. Harjit holds a Bachelor of Science, a Bachelor of Education, and an Associate of Science Degree in Medical Lab Technology. He firmly believes in the grassroots policies of the Ontario PC Party and is currently seeking nomination from the riding of Brampton Centre. Harjit wants to be YOUR MPP for Brampton Centre and stand up for families – to restore Ontario as the economic engine that drives this great country, to ensure that every person and local business owner has every opportunity to succeed and to deliver the change and relief Brampton and Ontario desperately needs.
