Its founder Britt Harville, a native of Albuquerque, New Mexico, has lived all over the United States – Chicago, New York City, Chapel Hill, North Carolina – and has discovered there is no better place to live than the Southwest. During his time outside of Albuquerque, Britt received intensive academic training in History and Cultural Anthropology at the University of Chicago and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. As a graduate student at the University of North Carolina, Britt spent several years creating and teaching courses in the departments of Anthropology, International Studies and Cultural Studies. Although he cherished his time as a graduate student and instructor, Britt’s fondness for people, his passion for residential architecture, and his search for a challenging and rewarding career made the world of real estate a natural choice for him. Upon leaving the University of North Carolina, Britt began work with a large residential home builder. This experience enabled Britt to draw from the analytic and communication skills he honed as an instructor while also allowing him to learn the building process from the ground up. The experience with new home construction makes Britt uniquely qualified to help his buyers purchase the best real estate the market has to offer, and at the best price. At the same time, this knowledge allows him to help his sellers determine how to best prepare their homes in order to sell them at their highest market value. Britt’s experience with new home construction has not only provided him with a detailed knowledge of how a home is designed and built, but has also exposed him to extensive training in the latest marketing techniques. He understands that while location may be the primary source of a home’s value, the best marketing available is required in order to convert this value into a sale.
