Heartspring has been a leader and innovator in creating hope and opportunity for children with special needs and their families since it was founded in 1934 as the Institute of Logopedics. Today, Heartspring provides a wide range of services and therapies through several programs including the Heartspring School, Pediatrics Services and Autism Services. Over time, the organization has grown and evolved to meet the ever-changing challenges of children locally, regionally and nationally. Heartspring's mission is to be a leader and innovator in providing clinically supported services through education and therapies for children with special needs to empower them to grow and learn on a path to a more independent life.
