Description

House Calls For Cars was founded and registered in Dallas County in December 1984. The business was named House Calls For Cars because services were provided at the person’s home or work. The entire Dallas and surrounding areas were serviced in all sorts of weather conditions to meet the requests. On January 24, 1985, his first customer, Charles “Chuck” Lambert called for service. Chuck is still a customer to this day. For 10 years, all services were provided from the House Calls for Cars van. Technical advances, city ordinances and environmental changes caused a need for changes in how services were offered. After a few problems with the enforcement of city ordinances, environmental requirements and technical advances in vehicles and equipment, the first shop was opened in 1994 in Garland, Texas. Opening the shop created an environment where service could be performed safely and in a more timely fashion. The vehicles are now carried to a repair facility, repaired and returned to owner. NO spills. NO violations of ordinances and better service, however, some minor repairs can and still is performed on site. The motto is Pick’em Up and Fix’em Up while being courteous and honest to the customer.
