Description

Osteopathy is a form of hands-on assessment and treatment. It considers the body as a unit, in which bones, nerves, muscles, and organs function together and influence one another. A change in any one of these systems can lead to changes in any other, and can result in pain or impaired functioning either locally or elsewhere in the body. Osteopaths address the body from head to toe, and treat a wide variety of health problems. About Julia Julia Farquhar graduated from The Canadian Academy of Osteopathy and Holistic Health Sciences with a Diploma in Osteopathic Manipulative Theory and Practice in 2004, and was a Teaching Assistant there after she graduated. She has also been a Teaching Assistant at the Barral Institute. Julia graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 1997, and has been registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario ever since. Julia is a member of the Society of Osteopaths of Canada.
