Hello, my name is Kate Clarke, and I am addicted to geckos. Sound familiar? In all seriousness, K.C. Excotics is a high quality breeder of Crested Geckos and Ball Pythons. This is not a joke. We care about our animals and they come first. Structure and pattern are something we strive to combine, but a healthy animal is above all what we aim to produce. The reptiles here are not just animals. They are pets. They are spoiled, named, and talked to. Yes....we talk to our reptiles. Be it words of encouragement, lectures, verbal pats on the back, venting, or simple "I love You"s, we do have conversations. Perhaps you're not a reptile geek, but if you're reading this you soon will be and you too will understand. TERMS: DIET: Our geckos are fed Pangea Fruit Mix Complete, along with occasional dusted dubia if they will take them. They are kept in reasonably sized enclosures individually. From hatchling to adults, they get their own room :-) PRICING: Our pricing reflects the time and care put in to our animals, their quality, as well as the investment we have in them. If you are unhappy with our pricing, please feel free to go elsewhere. We guarantee you will not be disappointed in our customer service, or the quality of our reptiles. If we post a price, that is what we feel the gecko is worth. If we happen to post something like "feel free to make an offer" or "OBO" then do so. Otherwise our prices are firm and justified. PAYMENT PLANS: We are open to payment plans on geckos priced over $200 for up to 30 days. Reptiles can be held with a non-refundable deposit of 25%, all further payments fare non-refundable as well. If for some reason you cannot pay the remainder of what is due on the reptile, it will be re-listed for sale and we will not be able to accept payment plans from you in the future. We accept paypal and money orders. No checks, cash is only accepted for local purchases. Animals will not be shipped until payment is made in full. SHIPPING: Shipping will take place via SYR when payments have been made in full and weather is acceptable. Acceptable weather means temps above 40 and below 80 degrees fahrenheit at the departure, hubs, and destination. Hubs including Memphis and Indianapolis. Shipping cost is a flat rate of $55 on top of the purchase price of the animal unless otherwise listed. We are not responsible for carrier delays or errors. We offer live arrival guarantee as long as the animal is shipped within safe temperatures. HEALTH: Due to the delicate nature of reptiles, we cannot guarantee health for a long period of time. We give a 10 day health guarantee. If something is wrong with the animal, we need to be notified within 24 hours of the change in health. Should a reptile arrive with worms or other parasites, we accept responsibility for a reasonable vet bill within 10 days of arrival to your location. We test our animals regularly for parasites and do not foresee this happening, but we won't leave you high and dry if it does. We are always available for help and advice but do urge you to contact your exotics veterinarian for care and help with your new animal. If you feel your new animal is unhealthy or not acting right, please contact a local exotics vet immediately and let us know as soon as possible. SEXING: We will state the sex or "unknown" on each animal we have for sale. The term "possible" means we are not sure and are not guaranteeing the sex of the animal. If we do guarantee the sex, and it turns out to be otherwise, we offer a 30% credit towards a future available animal of your choice.
