Thank you for your interest in K9 Natural Instincts! K9 Natural Instincts is a place for people to come with their dogs and exercise them based on the dog’s natural instinctual abilities, in a safe and secure environment. There are multiple activity stations that cater to dogs specific breed needs or instinctual behaviours. Most of these activity stations can also be rented out for private use. The current activity stations are: Lure course – This is for all of your sight hounds and dogs with strong prey drive. Herding – Herding sheep Scent Course – A course designed around all dogs who enjoy a good sniff! Multiple games/tasks can be played in the scent course. Indoor Dog Park – The indoor dog park is open to all well socialized dogs. The purpose behind this activity is to provide a warm, dry indoor facility that would mimic the current outdoor, off-leash dog parks in the city. Fully fenced, off leash nature trail – This provides all dogs the opportunity to exercise out in the wilderness, like nature intended. It has the added security of being fully fenced and of course without the threat of owners getting ticketed for having their dogs off leash where they shouldn’t. Pond with dock – Attention all water dogs! Whether the dog enjoys dock diving or simply splashing around in the water, the pond will provide a fun, safe environment for all dogs to play in the water. Ball launch – This is for those who just love to retrieve and can go for hours! Give your arm a rest and let the automatic ball launch do it for you. An on-site dog wash will also be available so you can save your vehicle from experiencing all the adventures your dog just did!
