Kalalaya is a Bharatanatyam, Caranatic music and Veena school operating in the Wollongong and Shell Cove area. Classes are run by Mrs Kala Ilango who gained her qualification at the Chennai Music College. Classes are available for all ages, offering classes for both adults and children. The school has been operating in Wollongong for the past 15 years, with students performing in local Indian celebration such as Diwali, and the wider Illawarra community at such events as the Illawarra Folk Festival.
